SERVING THE SPIRITUAL, PERSONAL, AND SOCIAL NEEDS OF SENIOR ADULTS
The Senior Adult Ministry (S.A.M.) is a ministry for the senior adults of HBBC & the community. The S.A.M. ministry is designed to provide a balance of activities addressing the spiritual, personal, service, and social needs of senior adults. Periodic get-togethers in the FLC include a time of fellowship, a good meal, and, often, an entertaining program. Day trips and service projects, overnight and extended trips – even cruises! – create memories and friendships that make senior living more fulfilling. All senior adults are welcome!
We have many opportunities for our Ladies to grow spiritually, serve the community, and just have fun together!
The Ladies Ministry Vision is to lead women who have received Christ to continue their walk, to be firmly rooted and established in their faith, and to instruct them how they may overflow with gratitude through servant-hood.
The Men’s Ministry encompasses a number of activities including:
- Weekly Bible Studies
- Assisting shut-ins with home repairs
- Disaster relief with Texas Baptist Men
- Missions – local and home
- Construction and repairs of Holly Brook facilities when needed
- Men’s Breakfast
